bas yun hi .

Mai jee rahi hoo dar dar ke
kuch toot raha hai andar se,
mai rokna to chahti hoon
par hath bandhe kyon paati hoon?

khushiyon ki to mehfil hai
phir aankhen kyon bhar aati hain
sab kuch pehle jaisa hai
phir yeh saasein kyon ghut si jaati hai?

patte ke girne ke dard kisko zyada hota hai?
woh patta jisko udna tha ya woh shakh ka muqaddar tha .
sapno ke is saude mein , kisne kitna khoya hai?
kyon ek patte ke girne se , dil mera bhi aaj roya hai?

itna kyon hasti hoon mai ki
rona phir pad jaata hai?
darti hoon kuch paane se ki
aksar khona bhi pad jaata hai.

khamosh sa kamra mera
mujhpe kyon aaj hasta hai
kehta hoon dost hoon tera
phir kyon yeh tanha karta hai?

kisko boloon , poochoon ya ilzaam doon.
mai apne is dard ko ab kiska naam doon.
bhool sakoon un khwabon ko mai,
is kaam ko aur kitni shaam doon ?

gar rok saki mai tootne se to,
ek pal me jee jaongi.
par rokne jo jaati hoon mai
to ..hath bandhe kyon paati hoon?

mai yeh haath bandhe kyon paati hoon ?

A Sweet Change

Man, I didn't know that TB Inc. was a flirting community!! Someone great had once said, "Titles can be deceptive". Huh! What's that? Haven't heard that one? Come on ppl that great personality is me. If only I knew it earlier then I would have been an overactive member of TB, but just as spilt milk and broken eggs can never be fixed so is thinking about something that did not occur not going to help; however I'm glad that I'm an active part if the community now.
My Orkut story has been very exciting so far. I've had some great moments on India community. Aaj bhi mera naam India community ka baacha baacha janta hai. Anyway, (coming back to reality) the fun did not last long as communal and religious hatred began to stink up the place. Even after all that I won't be able to forget the good friends that I made there (getting emotional). And then after taking an voluntary retirement from India community, I joined TB. Well, to tell you the truth, I never felt welcome there. I just went there whenever Furry asked me to join in. Part of the reason was that I didn't know anyone there other than Mr.India, Caco(whom I met there once in a while), Amber, Prof. Kandarp..hmm not a long list. And then there is the time difference that made it even worse. Whenever I came in the conversation would be over and everyone would have left by then…poor me! (And someone said that I was the sleeping beauty, huh!). Okay I'll stop being a brooding child. I'm so glad, as a matter of fact, I think its so awesome that the wall of obscurity between us have been broken.
TB has changed, and it has definitely changed for the best. How I love the new and improved TB! At least its new to me, and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I'm damn sure everybody feels the same way as I do, don't you? The meetings and blogs are something I look forward to every week. So, lets keep this going and enjoy every moment we spend here.

My journey

Few months back, as u all know, India Community was filled with hatred. Everyone was just waiting for a reason to fight. Among so much hatred I found a link to a community called Thread Busters Inc. I immediately joined the community, but I was too shy to post there. Days passed and one fine day ( 13th April 2006) I decided to push in . Amber was at her best. I am sure u must have guessed. Yea, she was busy flirting with Nipun. A series of formal posts, and then I had to leave for college. I found Amber too sweet and bindaas and coming to Nipun, I felt he was a serious person (I still repent over that. Now I feel he is craziest person on TB- soye huve sher ko jaga diya :(). Second time when I came to TB, Amber was again at work- flirting with Amol. Kandarp was also around. And that was the day I got attached to TB. It was so fun that day. Soon Kandarp started showing his bluffing talent. He was bluffing about Ceylan and what not! No one was ready to believe his stories. Poor Kandarp, rather poor us as we had to bear his stories. Soon he realized that, so he stopped telling us bedtime stories which he thought were bravery stories.
And not to forget simultaneously hatred on India Community was at its peak. That was the time when Thread Busters came into action. Our dear friends AK, yusuf, Gunny and many others had so much love for people from other communities which was a boon to Thread Buster Inc. It was like a bollyword scene.." Har ek hatred threads ko TB se ghuzarna padega. Muuhahahahahaaa". TB INC. was a huge success. TB was now the topic of discussion rather than religion. Peace loving people were happy about it while others were saying, "TBians are running away from reality". Reality for Tbians was peace and love, and we were able to achieve it to a great extent.

Coming back to Thread Busters Inc. community, ignoring the part that they used to treat me as a kid, I came across such lovely people. TB always used to be on top. It was active 24x7 as there is no precise time for flirting. Soon Tb was renamed as Thread Busters Matrimonial. Amber and Himani were masters at flirting. They had a loooong flirting list: - Kandarp, Nipun, Amol, Venkat, and Rishi. Priyanka and I learnt a lot from them. I was so inspired by them that I hooked myself to Avradip who claims to be my childhood lover ( coz of my dp). Not to forget about my bros Ajay and Shaminul. Shaminul used to send rochers for me everyday (coz I used to threaten him that, "Yas ko sub karname bata dongi"), but it never reached Kuwait. Deepak, who kept encouraging me with fishing business, and Paul, who wanted me to send him my birth certificate because I don't sound like a 18 year old girl probably, that's the reason why I got the Dadi maa award.

First thing I used to check as soon as I signed into Orkut was TB. I was soo addicted to it. TB is a place where we laugh together, share our problems, and of course, flirt together too. Thanks to Venkat, I learnt Cobol too. How can I forget about ashirward from our subject experts like Venky and Mr. India for cobol, Amol for maths, Kandarp for French (he said something in French before I left for the exam that is when I realized I should have worked harder but it was too late). And crazy Kiran who used to scare me and Priyanka before every exam with his kind thoughts. And one day everything crashed when Orkut was banned at work. It took me few days to come out of that shock. But thanks to gmail, Kandarp, amber and amol used to keep me updated. Sanjay joined tb during those days. Amber and I were really excited to rag him.

Then Nipun came back from hibernation. I still don't know why and where he was hibernating! Our great Nipun came up with great ideas to revamp TB. Operation Black which a operation to wipe off fakies but I found more fakies joining in. He came up with new, and improved ideas for busting too. But it was too late. Orkut was banned in many offices by then. Venky somehow pushed in but he cant post (lolzzz) whereas poor shilpi cant even sign in. Then one fine day Nipun ke demaag me chemical laucha huva and he thought of having Yahoo meet. Thanks to the meet many inactive people popped up which includes Shirin (Our sleeping beauty), Mr. India (Our DJ), Aniroodh (who claims to be my brother; however, that didn't surprise me as every third guy says the same thing. I am confused whether I should be happy about that or not), Avradip (ignoring the part that he runs away in 1/2 an hr saying he wants to have macchli and daru).

Now we even have a blog and group for Thread Busters. So there is no excuse for not staying in touch. Thanks a lot for being such wonderful friends. Always remain the same.
LONG LIVE TB AND OUR FRIENDSHIP TOO!!!
Ameen!!!

Highlights of the Conference

Finally, we had the best conference of TB so far on 30th September. As usual, Nipun and Furry, patron saints of TB, were on time. Furry just slept for 4 hours. Soon, I joined too.

But Amby and Shilpi came late. They said, they got late because of make up. But the chowkidar Bahadur Ramlalla, of their hostel, while doing a voice-chat with me on Yahoo, told me that on Friday night, they all had Hyderabadi biryani. All of us know, that for a woman, it's difficult to retain four things; gossip, boyfriend, makeup and Biryani. So, you know. In a hostel, with a shared WC, you really can't be on time!

Anirudh, Deepak and Mr. India came late too. However, the reason they gave was that they all had gone for Dandiya. However, after some investigation I got to know that they didn't go for Dandiya, but they are in the process of coming up with indianised Salsa. And they were practising hard for their first public show, due on Christmas. Below given is a demo of some of their group members. I am not sure, whether they are also dancing here...

I know, I know, This isn't enough for you. Look at this too

Ok ok!!!!! Some more!!

Shirin also came late. However, she said that she was using a special, "Prabhu Dewa Arms Exercise" for stretching arms-muscles so that she can type for long hours in the conference without getting tired. Here is a demo of "Prabhu Dewa Arms Exercise". Our investigator couldn't shoot Shirin, so this is a video of her roommate.

Well, these are the minutes of the conference

  1. Nipun has a very "interrogative" voice. He is very curious. But he asks like a police inspector. e.g. "KAISE HO?" "TUM KYA PADH RAHE HO?" "KAHAAN PADH RAHE HO?" "KYON PADH RAHE HO?". The other person, would get totally apologetic by the time, the third question comes up.
  2. Furry has a very sweet voice. She can speak some Hindi too. E.g. "Shirin ko hindi nahi samajhti hai".
  3. Shirin has a very sweet voice. She can also speak some Hindi. E.g. "ok"..............................well, leave it!
  4. Shilpi was speaking to someone on phone time and again. Who was she talking to? Investigation is on! Soon, you will have results.
  5. Amby, hugged everyone. When she hugged me, I realised, in my life how badly I needed a friend, ................................................. and how badly she needed...a deo!!!
  6. We also discovered that Mr.India are two people. One is Mr. and the other is India. Everyday they toss a coin to decide, who is Mr. and who is India!
  7. Nipun hadn't slept at all. Finally, he had to give up and he started sleeping during the conference himself. But, he could still keep typing. However, it was easy to make out when he was sleeping. Because, suddenly his sentences started making sense!
  8. Shirin was in Deepak's friend list once upon a time. What events led to her removal from that friend list? It's still a mystery.
  9. Everytime, somebody got disconnected, it was difficult to invite the same person back to the conference. We had to start a new conference. In this process we started 57 conferences in 6 hours. Furry topped the chart with 39 conferences, followed by Nipun with 13, yours truly 4 and Shirin with 1. Amby also started one conference, but that was 24 hours after the conference when nobody was online!
  10. There was a Singing competition too. Which I won, because nobody else contested. I won uncontested, just like Sharad Pawar in BCCI elections. My belly is not the only thing, that resembles Sharad Pawar.
  11. Amby and Deepak had an hour long conversation. However, only after 59 minutes they realised that amby had no speakers so couldn't listen to what Deepak was saying and Deepak wasn't reading what she was typing!
  12. The best moment of the conference came when, Anirudh asked through Voice message "How many of you don't have speakers?". Reminded me of a teacher, who used to ask in her class, "How many of you are absent today?".

If I have missed something, please Add.....

and, if you see any errors in this post, let me know.

I appreciate those, who show me my errors, but I just love those, who don't!!

Adios

The Biggest "Thread Buster"

Well, i think, the right way to Start this blog is by defining what is thread busting. At Orkut, Thread busting, means busting a thread of nuisance and hatred. However, thread busting isn’t just playing mischiefs. Thread busting is a phenomenon. Thread busting is a culture. It’s not new. Time and again, when there has been “threads” of nuisance, torture, discrimination, hatred and enmity on this earth, “Thread Busters” have arrived and busted all the threads.

Let’s salute the biggest Thread Buster of all times.

Today is his birthday. When our nation was on the verge losing its identity; he arrived, and busted not just “threads” but all the "shackles" of British empire.

Mahatma Gandhi. Thanks a lot. For letting all of us experience, freedom and democracy.
